ANTON
ANTON

Biography
Anton lives and works in Paris.
Born in Athens in 1948, he arrives in France when he was 17 years old. Firstly, he studied architecture at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts in Paris. Then, he began to take an interest in photography at that time. That’s why his first images are photographs of landscape and architecture. Moreover, he also uses drawing and sculpture as modes of expression. Anton’s multidisciplinary work is marked by the relationship to construction, material and line.
Painting, photography, sculpture, design, Anton moves from one support to another with remarkable ease. Alongside his photography and painting exhibitions, he crafted a subtle combination of sculptures and common objects. With the AHA design group, he created the famous «lamp meter».
